This summer school will provide opportunities to collect experience with modern data analysis, in particular Big Data analytics. This includes subjects such as how to mine data in the Internet and data of Social Media. Our main and special guest lectures will address the scope focusing on algorithms, computational models and practical results on this field.

Lipari School on Computational Complex and Social Systems

The Data Incubator is an intensive 8 week fellowship that prepares the best scientists and engineers with advanced degrees to work as data scientists and quants. It identifies fellows who already have the 90% difficult-to-learn skills and equips them with the last 10%: the tools and technology stack that make them self-sufficient, productive contributors. The program is free for fellows. Employers only pay a tuition fee if they successfully hire.

The Mid Term Workshop of the Master on Big Data Analytics and Social Mining will bring together the students, the teachers and the industrial partners in order to show the status of the student's projects and to introduce the internship program.
The Workshop will start at 10:00 and will close at 17:00.
All participants are invited to attend the social lunch offered by the organization.
